Culture news: Canada Supreme Court labels language opposed to homosexuality "hate speech"

When homosexuality and homosexual marriage are cast as "civil rights" issues, the inevitable result in our current cultural setting is that any language that rejects and condemns it as sinful will be classified as "hate speech."  A recent decision in Canada continues this trend that has already been seen in Europe.  As homosexual marriage legislation is being debated in my own state of Illinois, we are told that religious conscience will not be suppressed.  However, what the government "gives" it can also take away with one court ruling by the highest court in the land.
