One can always rely on Dr. Gene Edward Veith to provide insightful commentary on intellectual and cultural trends. This a great piece assessing how we arrived at our depraved new world as we now live in the shadow of the Pill.
I was glad to see that Veith's assessment moves along the same lines as my own
Homosexual marriage changes nothing and it changes everything: A post-mortem on marriage in American culture. As Veith points out, the one thing that has changed is that unlike other times in history, our culture now considers the various forms of sexual immorality to be a good thing, not just something to be tolerated.
