Life news: How abortion has changed the discussion of miscarriage

In a post on her blog Becky Thompson has an interesting observation about abortion and miscarriage.  Miscarriage is topic that rarely receives attention in the media and our culture.  Thompson notes that since those who set the agenda want to define an unborn baby as a piece of tissue that can be disposed of, they are unable to speak about the loss of unborn babies who are wanted.  To focus on the latter would make it impossible to maintain the former.

  1. Conversely, those who are anti-abortion care very much for those who must deal with the burden of miscarriage and stillbirth. Thanks be to God, there's a new and growing movement. http://perinatalhospice.org/
