Interesting books: Exorcism in the Lutheran Church of Madagascar

The reader of the Gospels encounters numerous accounts in which Jesus Christ casts out demons.  The practice of exorcism continued to play an important role in the Church's evangelism efforts in the Mediterranean world and Europe.  However the age of rationalism has taught the western mind that such things do not really happen.  The Rev. Dr. Robert Bennett has written what appears to be a fascinating account of exorcism as it is practiced by the Lutheran Church of Madagascar entitled I Am Not Alone: Demon Possession and Spiritual Warfare. An interview with Dr. Bennett about the book is available on the Concordia Publishing House website.
