Life news: Technology is the enemy of abortion

The arguments raised in support of abortion are so devoid of substance and the arguments raised against it are so powerfully based in scientific fact and sound logic that it really is hard to believe that abortion is allowed to continue in our nation.  Abortion continues because people are willing to ignore the facts and logic in order to avoid personal responsibility and inconvenience.  It continues because there is an industry that generates millions of dollars in revenues for itself through abortion and so lobbies powerfully for its own cause.  And it continues because abortion is part of the liberal feminist worldview that is embraced by academia and the media.  These forces have kept abortion on demand going for thirty years.

However, even abortion supporters seem to sense that time is not on their side.  They know that the pro-life movement has a substantial contingent of young people that they do not have.  And they know that technology is their enemy.  The advent of the ultrasound and other imaging technologies has allowed people to look inside the womb.  And what do they see?: A baby.  The more technology advances, the more it exposes people to what scientific fact and logic have been saying all along and the harder it gets for people to set this aside.  The hope for the future is that this trend shifts public opinion until it reaches a tipping point that the abortion lobby, academia and the media are unable to overcome. The following piece about a new WebMD mobile app illustrates the trend that provides hope for the future.
