So just brainstorming out of the box stuff for the sake of discussion, "Can a Lutheran pastor in good conscience marry a couple in the eyes of the Lord but NOT in the eyes of the state?" Since the state has totally messed up the definitions, should the Christian mark and avoid soas not to confuse?
