Culture news: Verizon defends decision to offer incest and child themed porn
The pornification of American culture continues. Verizon is defending its decision to offer incest and child themed porn via video on demand. The language of John P. Artney, Verizon’s Associate Director for Advertising and Content Standards is particularly interesting. He states that, "The explosion in choice is a tremendous benefit to consumers, but not
all consumers want to have access to all content for themselves and
their families all of the time." This leads one to wonder about what our culture considers to be the limits on choice.
